Since 1994 we are a specialty pharmaceutical company with market leadership in pain and infections management. We are engaged in the research and development, sale and marketing of branded and generic prescription pharmaceuticals used primarily to treat and manage pain and infections.

Paramount Pharmaceuticals has successfully completed the entire initial cores, which are necessary to establish marketing concern in pharmaceutical, sector e.g. product selection, product registration etc. Till this date Paramount has got registration of more than 150 products on local manufacturing basis. Paramount has taken a great care to fulfill its own and medical professional criteria of care-safety and cleanliness.

Paramount is equipped with the most modern and latest equipments (Like HPLC and Atomic absorption spectrophotometer) taken and chosen from the world are the ornaments of Paramount that ensures the best finest and accurate quality control at any stage. As a quality conscious organization we are trying hard to get maximum machinery and equipment to make our factory the most modern and up to the standard of international level.


Who we Are

It was the dawn of 1994 when a small humble team of professionals joined their heads to invest their potential and resources and extend their expertise from Japan to Malaysia and Pakistan. Thanks God we are successful in our ambitions and now the Paramount incorporated Tokyo-Japan is having its subsidiary fully functional and operational in Malaysia and Pakistan. After registration, Paramount Pharmaceuticals established a state of art manufacturing unit at a beautiful location at Industrial Triangle, Kahuta Road, Islamabad, which is equally accessible from the twin cities.

The prime objective was to provide quality medicines at competitive rates and with the blessings of Almighty Allah we have been successful in maintaining quality standards under the auspice of ISO 9002 quality programs. We are proud of having certified by Belcert – Belgium.

Keeping an eye on flight of national exchequer on import of medicines, we aim at serving the humanity through providing them medicines of International quality without sacrificing national economy at appropriate and competitive price.

We have highly qualified professionals; dedicated management and enthusiastic marketing team with the urge to provide the drugs for the sick humanity at their doorstep.

Meet The Founder

  • Nasir M. Qureshi
    Chief Executive Officer
    Mr. Nasir M. Qureshi is the Chief Executive Officer of Paramount Pharmaceuticals. He is a dynamic team leader gifted with sharp business acumen to take sound business decisions. Mr. Qureshi started his professional career by working for an Australian company in Pakistan. After some time, he migrated to Japan and started his entrepreneurship career there as the founder of Paramount. Thus Paramount was established in 1982 in the land of rising sun (Japan). After spending some years as a successful entrepreneur in Japan, he returned to Pakistan and established Paramount Pharmaceutical in Islamabad in 1994. Since then, his vision and passion has been integral to Paramount’s success building it from a small start up to a growing pharmaceutical company.
  • Tariq M. Qureshi
    Director Ops
    Mr. Tariq M. Qureshi is the Director Operations of Paramount Pharmaceuticals. He has a sound technical background. He directs and supervises all the factory affairs and operations. Under his supervision, Paramount has installed state-of-the-art machinery and technology, which has sufficiently enhanced the production capacity of the Company. His technical insight and operational expertise have strengthened Paramount’s culture of innovation and growth.
  • Shuja ul Hassan
    Plant Manager
    Mr. Shuja is Plant Manager in Paramount. He is a Pharmacy Graduate from Punjab University and is currently enrolled in Hamdard University for M.Phil in Pharmaceutics. He has more than 23 years’ experience of working in pharmaceutical industry including two different multinational pharmaceuticals Rhone Poulenc Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd. & Pharmacia Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd. After acquisition of Pharmacia by Pfizer Pakistan, he got Voluntary Golden Shake hand from Pharmacia and joined Paramount Pharmaceuticals as Plant Manager in 2006 and still working with us. He has got complete command over quality management systems as well as environment safety and health issues. Under his guidance the quality management team of Paramount Pharmaceuticals has managed to get ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 Certifications. Through his efforts we have managed to get cGMP compliance of the Plant as per requirements of WHO and ICH guidelines.
We aim to sustain an industry-leading pipeline of products, ensuring that they demonstrate value for healthcare providers. Our R&D strategy is built around focussing on the best science, diversifying through externalisation of research, and improving the returns on investment.
