Role Overview
The Export Officer will be the driving force behind our international supply chain. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end export documentation, ensuring compliance with international trade laws and pharmaceutical regulatory bodies (including DRAP), and coordinating seamlessly with global clients, freight forwarders, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities

- Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate closely with the Regulatory Affairs (RA) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to secure necessary export documentation, such as Certificates of Pharmaceutical Product (COPP), GMP certificates, and Free Sale Certificates. Ensure strict adherence to DRAP export guidelines.
- Logistics & Freight Management: Negotiate rates and coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, and customs clearing agents to ensure timely, cost-effective, and safe delivery of pharmaceutical shipments (maintaining cold-chain requirements where necessary).
- Banking & Financial Operations: Handle Letter of Credit (LC) operations, banking contracts, and advance payment tracking in compliance with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations.
- Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for international distributors and clients. Provide timely updates on production schedules, dispatch plans, and shipment tracking.
- Market Expansion Support: Assist the business development team in researching international market entry requirements, tariff codes (HS Codes), and import regulations for target countries.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration (BBA/MBA), or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven experience in export operations, specifically within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of international trade terms (Incoterms 2020), customs regulations, and SBP export guidelines.
- Regulatory Familiarity: Practical knowledge of DRAP export procedures and international MoH compliance is highly preferred.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience working with ERP systems for inventory and shipment tracking.
- Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight shipping deadlines.
Why Join Paramount Pharmaceuticals?
- Opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing international operations team.
- Professional development and career advancement opportunities.
- Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
